An Arctic Wilderness

My freezer is so not vegetarian-friendly right now. It is, in fact, a haven for frozen meat. We actually inventoried the freezer for you…

  • 9 freezer bags of chicken breasts. Each bag has 2 breasts.
  • 2 half-pound freezer bags of ground hamburger.
  • 7 12-ounce packages of ham steak. The grocery store keeps having them on buy 1 get 1 free sale, and they freeze so beautifully! I can’t help myself.
  • 2 3+ pound packages of country style boneless pork ribs.
  • 1 pound cooked shrimp.
  • Frozen fish sticks.
  • A box of hamburger patties.
  • Buffalo chicken tenders
  • Swedish meatballs (from IKEA!).
  • 3 packages Hebrew National hot dogs.
  • Frozen lasagna.
  • 1/2 package Irish bangers.
  • 1 corn dog.
  • Meat ravioli.
  • 1 frozen chicken parm pattie.
  • 6 containers (about 3 pounds total) of tablespoon-sized raw hamburger meatballs.
  • 6 bags of cranberries.
  • 1 3-pound bag of blueberries.
  • 3 bags of frozen, steam-in-bag rice.
  • 4 packages mixed vegetables, yellow corn, petit peas, spinach.
  • 1 package frozen artichokes.
  • Salsa.
  • A box of peanut butter doggie ice cream cups.
  • Waffles.
  • Fruit-flavored popsicles.
  • Blood orange sorbet, blackberry cabernet sorbet, and fudge royale ice cream.
  • Chocolate digestive biscuits.
  • Herbs (dill, parsley).
  • 3 ice packs.
  • 2 Boo-Bunny ice cubes.
  • 1 plastic bin for the ice maker.

Truly, I love my freezer. It is huge. It is endless. And frighteningly enough, there’s more room.
