Long Range Forecast, Oct 20-23

October 2012
20th-23rd. Severe thunderstorms move in, then clearing and unseasonable cold; widespread frosts.

October 20: A grey morning quickly turns sunny and pleasant. A perfect afternoon for bulb planting – finally!

October 21: A sunny, mild early morning conducive to a long walk around the neighborhood.

October 22: Sunny but crisp AM, decent midday. By dinner time, debating whether to take a coat, a sweater, or a coat AND a sweater out with me for the evening. Should have taken both, but was comfortable in just the sweater if I kept moving.

October 23: Slight haze over the water this morning, but pleasant for walking. Geese high overhead, heading westward in line formation — not the classic V. Warm late afternoon.
