Long Range Forecast, Nov 20-23

November 2012
20th-23rd. Weather deteriorates by Thanksgiving. Fair, then rain mixed with wet snow mountains of New England. Cold rains Virginia, Maryland.

November 20: Ok, so now we’re in another state, but supposedly the long term forecast is as legitimate here as it is back home. Nice morning, warm evening.

November 21: A brisk morning, a bit of frost but not too much. Definitely bundle up to go for a very early walk. A doe criss-crosses the backyard a bit after sunrise.

November 22: Happy Thanksgiving! Jim says it isn’t that cold, then shivers when he gets hit by a draft. I have hardly taken sweater or slippers off for two days.

November 23: AM temps in the upper 20s. Crispy thick frost on dead leaves and in undisturbed meadows. Mild midday.
