December 16: Boston Tea Party Day. A hint of a few snowflakes in the late morning, which resolves in to persistent rain for the rest of the day. Chill but not icy.
December 17: Still raining, but the constant cloud cover has kept the temperature north of freezing. Even after dark, the roads have not developed any icy patches.
December 18: Still raining. Three days and nights of cloud cover means warmth is lingering, and AM temperatures are in the mid and high 40s here by the coast and the city. Rain stops late evening.
December 19: Mostly overcast, no rain. Temps in the 40s.
