Long Range Forecast, Dec 24-27

December 2012
24th-27th. Some snow Christmas.

December 24: Christmas Eve. I think that for much of the country, “some snow Christmas” is going to be an accurate forecast. Not sure about my part of New England, however. 25 degrees at 7 AM, sunny and crisp-looking out.

December 25: Christmas. Woke up to snow! Well! Santa brought Amy just enough snow to run around in, and a few flakes to take a walk in.

December 26: St Stephen. Ice on driveway and windshield in the AM. Cloud cover throughout the day, storms begin to move in around 4 or 5 PM. Strong winds beginning 9 PM.

December 27: Winds and rain continued throughout the night and in to the midmorning. No snow, here by the sea, but plenty of rain, and the wind is driving it at right angles. Overcast skies and intense rain persists through bedtime.
